What’s New

JULY 2020 – So, Mary moved out, Miles moved in, and then COVID-19 started. My house is still a mess and unorganized, because everything is left up to me, unless there’s a complaint about how I do things (whatever 🤷🏻‍♀️). I have a whole disgusting junk room to get to (and my closet is in there), and some other rooms are most definitely not up to par. My relationships feel like they’ve taken a ride away on a huge wave. I only see Ryan and Lyn in very small, occasional, increments, and haven’t seen Tav at all since the end of February. I miss them all a ton, and that makes me moody and miss my dad even more. Couple that with the sickness I get during the heat, and the pain I’m in when it rains, I cannot wait for fall. In the meantime, I’m just trying to get myself back on track and maybe the rest will follow.

Recent Instagram 📷’s

Being inside and all of this weird weather has me looking pale, but I’ve actually got a full day ahead of me: setting up my writer’s page, baking at the grow, lots of writing and editing, some UI testing, and a grocery delivery. I’m glad I picked up extra iced coffee this morning!
I never thought I’d actually ever have a truly good use for this book when I ordered it from the rare used book catalogue back when I worked at Borders. But now here we are, and thankfully, I still have it. I’m excited to give it a go.
It feels so good to be writing again, and for an actual purpose!
Yup. I’m finally there. (Well, not actually, just the sentiment). I am so over quarantine.
Nostalgia: I hardly ever use my Twitter, but when I do, it’s pretty much always for a banger. And I clearly haven’t changed much in the last decade or so.

Cute Mandalorian mug (and tea flavor set) @mossymay53 got me for my birthday. But right now it’s full of coffee. In the background is my nearly completed 𝙏𝙝𝙤𝙪𝙨𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙎𝙥𝙡𝙚𝙣𝙙𝙞𝙙 𝙎𝙪𝙣𝙨 shawl.
All of this will be a part of my massive 𝘽𝙚𝙚𝙠𝙚𝙚𝙥𝙚𝙧’𝙨 𝙌𝙪𝙞𝙡𝙩. There’s more yarn for this project coming in this week as part of my birthday yarn order, and I can’t wait to get it ready to use, as well.
A lot of people were posting this on Facebook (that’s where it’s from), but I’m posting it here instead. It all just makes sense.
